Meet Our Instructors

Krysta White - Studio Manager

She is the mastermind behind all your Pajama Jam and Around the World Zumba Birthday Parties at Peachy Fitness! Meet Krysta, our Peachy Fitness Studio Manager. Her interest in dancing and fitness was sparked when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 10 years ago at age 14, since exercise was recommended for good blood sugar control. After a few Zumba classes, she was hooked, and soon after became an instructor! Krysta began her work with Peachy in 2015 teaching Zumba Kids classes and leading birthday parties. Now she holds a degree from Eastern Michigan University in Sport Performance & Fitness Entrepreneurship, and is excited to apply her knowledge to the management team. She still engages many at birthday parties and events, with a passion for fostering joy and connection through movement.

Angie - Yoga Instructor

Angelica Terinte has been teaching both adult and tween yoga for our studio for 5 years. She is a certified yoga teacher in Core Hatha and Ashtanga in the traditional Dharamshala, India. She has also received 200 hours of directed training in the field of Ayurvedic Studies and has a registered certification as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor at Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda. Through these trainings, her unique coaching method activates the individual’s self-healing potential from inside out by combining all types of yoga, pranayama, meditation, and Ayurveda lifestyle advice. Angie believes that Hatha yoga should be the foundation stone for every single person to learn, understand, and to deepen their practice. She loves helping people by teaching private and group therapeutic and restorative yoga classes for all, regardless of age, ethnicity, and gender. She also offers chair and wall yoga classes customized for people with general health problems and body injuries.

Kelly Crorey - Dance Instructor

Coming to Ann Arbor from Marine City, Michigan, Kelly brings 18 years of dance experience, 8 of which have been in teaching! Kelly’s primary dance focus is teaching children ages 1-8 years old using ballet, creative movement, and theater techniques. She is currently a student at Concordia University Ann Arbor studying elementary and early childhood education. Also, she is a member of the Concordia Cardinal Dance Team. Her favorite part of teaching at Peachy Fitness is hosting birthday parties and making the day special for families!

JT - Yoga Instructor

Meet JT, our beloved adult and kids Yoga instructor at Peachy Fitness for the past 5 years! She holds a Master’s Degree in Education….. She believes Yoga is a valuable practice for all to achieve both healing and balance in our busy lives. The change comes not with what you do in class, but also how you go through life off the mat with greater ease. She emphasizes an appropriate balance between cultivating flexibility and strength, while creating an extra level of quality and safety from injury throughout the practice. JT is especially talented in Yoga Instruction for toddlers and preschool-aged children.

Sharon - Dance Instructor

Sharon has been teaching Chinese dance at Peachy Fitness for over 5 years. She used to be an actress and director in a national theater company in China. She also obtained her certificate of Chinese dance teacher at the highest level from Chinese Dancer’s Association. Sharon is dedicated to providing high quality of instruction in the technique, discipline and artistry to her students.

Deepa - Dance & Yoga Instructor

Deepa is both an amazing dance and yoga Instructor. Growing up, yoga was a part of her daily routine in India. As a child, she was very involved in training for YMCA yoga competitions, which involved showcasing participant’s flexibility. More recently Deepa has developed a deeper appreciation for yoga and came to embrace it as a life practice. She received her Yoga teacher training certification in Rishikesh - Yoga’s World Capital - in 2016. Deepa has been studying Ayurveda for the last 4 years with San Diego College of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is a holistic medical approach that has been in existence for more than 5000 years. It involves therapies with known benefits for healing through body, mind, and spirit.

Jen Doe - Zumba Instructor

Jen started twirling and leaping at age 3 and grew up taking ballet, tap, and later ballroom lessons. Her primary goal in teaching is to inspire others to have FUN! Jen brings 5 years of Zumba experience to Peachy, with an energy that is contagious! Her favorite latin rhythm is Reggaeton- which has hip-hop, dancehall, and carribean influence. Check out Jen’s class and let her show you how to groove!

Beth - Adult Fitness Instructor

Beth is the leader behind Beth’s Active Adults, LLC. She has been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor since 2004. Before starting her own business, Beth spent almost 10 years promoting health and wellness at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital for the Women’s Health Center and ShapeDown weight management program. Her philosophy is to keep moving at any age, no matter what you can do. Just remember to be smart about it - learn to respect your body and its limitations. Her classes, geared towards older adults, prioritize functional movements for improving the way we move each day.

Nancy - Yoga Instructor

Nancy teaches kids and adults of all ages, but is most passionate about starting folks out positively in a yoga practice and in its application to athletes. When she is not on the mat, you might catch Nancy out training towards her personal goal of running each of the 50 states’ marathons. She loves yoga’s great variety to bring something meaningful to each and every"body". Nancy dreams to one day open a yoga apothecary to help yogi explorers find the right fit in yoga class types. Suzy - Yoga & Art Instructor

Suzy is an artist who is also a certified yoga instructor, energy healer, and trauma release practitioner. She currently writes for yogapedia.com and facilitates workshops for yoga, trauma release, breathwork and creativity. Suzy holds a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Suzy has been teaching a variety of yoga classes since 2004. She believes in only necessary communication during yoga class so that each can tune into their body sensations. Each of her classes include both pranayama and meditation. Suzy gives modifications when needed and performs minimal adjustments, as each of us is blessed with a unique body. Zaini -Studio Director

Owner/Studio Director, Zaini Lateef welcomes you to Peachy Fitness! Her love of health and wellness started in 2013, when her focus shifted from banking and finance industry to become an entrepreneur. She started Peachy Fitness as a way to bring wellness to families in the Ann Arbor community. Zaini holds a degree in Finance from University of South Florida. She has also worked as a Health Ambassador for University of Michigan where she taught middle school kids how to develop a healthy lifestyle. She loves to lead others by example. Zaini maintains a healthy lifestyle as a way to motivate others. She loves taking yoga classes and has learned how to listen to her body. This allows her to modify poses to fit her personal needs. Zaini believes that taking small steps is the key to a healthier future!

Julia -Dance Instructor

Julia has been dancing at Marine City Dance Company for the past 14 years and has been teaching classes for the past 4! She also has former experience as a Ballet Corp member with the Port Huron Nutcracker Company. Julia loves ballet and contemporary dance, but teaching ballet to young ones ages 3-5 is her favorite! Julia currently attends Eastern Michigan University and is majoring in Elementary Education. Julia hopes to join the EMU dance team in the coming semesters, and is really looking forward to becoming a more familiar face here at Peachy Fitness!

Indu - Bollywood Instructor

Indu is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, and has been dancing for as long as she can remember. Music and Dance have always played an important role in my life. She began teaching about 5 years ago, and has been involved with organizing fundraising campaigns through dance fitness classes.  While she works as a Mechanical Engineer, dancing is her main hobby and passion. She especially loves grooving and choreographing to the captivating beats of Bollywood. Indu’s classes use this rhythm to bring you an intense cardio workout, so be ready to break a sweat to sweet Bolly beats!

Stella - Zumba Kids Instructor

Stella is excited to be able to provide an entertaining exercise experience to our youth.  As a registered nurse, she has always valued health and fitness as a key components of a well balanced lifestyle.  In fact, she used to share many of the struggles as the rest of the world with getting motivated to be active, until she was introduced to Zumba!  She looks forward to regular classes because of the opportunity it gives to be creative and social in a community. Her favorite part of dancing in class is the indescribable adrenaline rush, or “Zumba high” one experiences.  Stella’s goal is to use this same exhilarating experience to entice future generations to stay active and have fun doing it.
