We offer yoga and zumba classes in Ann Arbor for adults and kids. Adult classes are geared toward anyone 18 or older who have an interest in bettering themselves physically and/or mentally. We accept any adult provided you meet the criteria seen below; both experience and non-experienced. More adult classes may be added as we grow.

Restorative/Better Backs Yoga (Ladies Only Class)

Restorative/Better Backs Yoga class in Ann Arbor relieves back pain by strengthening and stretching the muscles that support the spine and helps to prevent future injury. During each session, you will use bolsters, straps, blocks and blankets to help you feel comfortable within each pose, helping you get a deeper opening in places that tend to store tension, such as back, neck, shoulders, eyes and feet. You will surely feel refreshed, restored and younger.

 

Lunch Time Hatha Yoga (Ladies Only Class)

Need a “yoga break” in the middle of your day? Come and enjoy our LUNCH TIME HATHA YOGA class in Ann Arbor . A 45 minute flow-style class that will help move your body and increase metabolism. During each session, you will use bolsters, straps, blocks and blankets to help you feel comfortable within each pose, helping you get a deeper opening in places that tend to store tension. This class is designed to provide you with that extra energy to get you through that afternoon drag and keep you invigorated throughout the day!

 

Slow Flow Yoga (Tween/Teen & parents)

This is an open level class focused on healthy alignment and linking strengthening postures. This class is appropriate for beginners and brand-new students. It includes focused and gentle opening of the body and spine, foundational yoga poses and sun salutations, attention to detail on breath and alignment, and some long holds for strength.

 

Prenatal Yoga

Designed to nourish expectant mothers during their magical journey, you will learn to use yoga’s mind/body awareness to connect with your own innate wisdom, body and your growing baby. Our gently flowing practice will help you to improve circulation, ease digestion, strengthen your uterus and pelvic muscles, exercise the spine and simply make you more at ease throughout your pregnancy.

 

Postnatal/ Mom & Baby Yoga in Ann Arbor

Mom & Baby Yoga classes in Ann Arbor is developed for moms with babies 4 weeks to crawling. This postnatal class help women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy. Classes specifically focus on rebuilding strength in the abdomen, back and pelvic muscle; releasing tension in the shoulders and neck; opening the chest. Classes also address common issues and concerns that may arise in this new chapter of life.

 

Happy Hour Yoga

A healthy option for release. An excellent early evening class that’ll leave you feeling happy and balanced after your workday and before your evening.

 

Candlelight Yoga (Mix Gender)

Candlelight Yoga in Ann Arbor is an all levels, moderately paced, class softly lit by candlelight. This class focuses on mind-body awareness. We start with deep breathing, transition to a gentle flow to warm the body in preparation for seated poses and end with deep relaxation and meditation. We use props to support the body and give you the tools you need to quiet the mind.

 

Family Yoga Class: (Ages 3 – 8 years + parents)

Bring your entire family to yoga and practice together in Ann Arbor! This class presents an opportunity to cultivate emotional and physical bonding within your family and the community. Family Yoga includes postures for the whole family. Peachy Fitness loves families of all sorts – your family can only be defined by you. Bring anyone you love and have fun! All yogis age 3 and up are welcome in this class.

 

Zumba (Ladies Only)

LADIES PARTY yourself into shape!!!
The Latin-inspired, easy to follow, calorie burning, dance fitness party.
Feel the music and let loose.
Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Energize and refresh with music such as Latin, Bollywood, Russian, Hip Hop/Pop, Salsa/Cha-Cha, Samba, Merengue. Squats and lunges are also included.

 

Family Run Club (ages 6 & up)

The Family Run Club program is a 10 week running program for parents of any age and kids 6 years and older. By reaching small milestones throughout the course of the program, the parent’s and children’s self-confidence will increase in tandem with their ability to run further distances and improve their times. The program includes:
